Meet Rod Lamb.
Rod is the owner and lead designer at Castle Landscapes. For over twenty years he has been quietly building some of the most beautiful private gardens across Kent and Sussex — from walled cottage gardens in the High Weald to coastal family plots on the South Coast.
Castle Landscapes was founded on a simple idea: the person who designs your garden should also be the person on site, mixing mortar and setting stone. That hands-on approach is still what defines the company today.

Two decades in the South East.
Rod started Castle Landscapes after a long apprenticeship working with established garden designers and stonemasons across the Weald. What began as a one-man operation with a pickup truck and a love of dry-stone walling has grown into a small, dedicated team of designers, landscapers and planters.
Today we work on everything from full garden redesigns to smaller projects — terraces, walls, planting schemes, water features and outdoor kitchens. Every project, no matter the size, gets the same attention to detail and the same materials we'd be proud to use in our own gardens.
We're proud to have built long-term relationships with clients across Kent and Sussex — many of whom now invite us back year after year to evolve their gardens with them.
